Teaching is my passion.
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. Even though I changed my major a few times in college, it always brought me back to the initial thought of teaching. I couldn’t be more grateful to spend my days teaching children, learning from them, and growing not only as an educator but an individual.
I have teaching experience in 1st – 5th grades. Currently, I teach 5th-grade literacy and social studies.
In addition, I have a Masters in Literacy. In the future, I hope to pursue a position as a Reading Specialist or Instructional Coach.
I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and know that He has guided me to become a teacher. In addition to my faith, I love working out, cooking, reading, and being with family and friends.
My goal is to provide you with resources that support rigor within literacy while sharing how I balance it all.
